After qualifying as an attorney in Italy in 1997, Giorgio began his legal career focusing primarily on corporate law and complex finance transactions, working closely with one of Italy's leading practitioners in the field.
In 1998–1999, he was a Visiting Foreign Lawyer at a leading international law firm in London, where he worked within the Corporate and Banking Departments. During this period, he qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and is currently a member of the Law Society.
Throughout his career, Giorgio has practised with leading Italian and international law firms. He became a partner of a prominent Italian law firm in 2004 before joining a leading international law firm as partner in 2014. In this role, he led the Milan Private Equity practice, served as a member of the firm's Global Consumer Sector Committee, and chaired the Italian Business Development Committee.
Giorgio has extensive experience advising financial sponsors and Italian and international industrial groups on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, with particular expertise in leveraged buyouts, private equity investments, preferred capital transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, and acquisitions and disposals of companies and businesses. He has also developed significant experience advising listed companies and assisting clients in transactions subject to the Italian public takeover bid regime.
In 2026, Giorgio joined ADVANT Nctm as a Partner and Co-Head of International Relations.
