Vittorio Bellandi is a trainee in the Energy and Infrastructures department of ADVANT Nctm. He graduated with honours from the University of Florence, where he obtained a Master's Degree in Law with a strong focus on EU and constitutional comparative law.
His final dissertation “Originalism in the Supreme Court of the United States. Genesis, epistemological fragilities and recent developments” examined the rise of originalism in the US Supreme Court, from minority doctrine to koiné of the constitutional dialogue in the United States, through the analysis of landmark case law, including decisions in the field of energy transition.
During his studies, he gained international experience through an Erasmus exchange at Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) and developed a keen interest in commercial law and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), taking part into in several international mediation and negotiation competitions, including the IBA-VIAC CDRC Mediation and Negotiation Competition in Vienna, the International Mediation Competition organised by Gonzaga University School of Law of Washington and the Mediazioni Fiorentine.
