    Expertise

    Ekaterina Aksenova has developed her expertise in transport and competition law, focusing primarily on marine and port cases with a particular emphasis on legal matters relating to the acquisition, development and operation of national commercial port terminals. 

    She is mainly focused, among other matters, on issues related to port infrastructure (e.g., obtainment of State concessions, licenses, and authorisations); port operations and services; obtainment of Golden Power clearance; cases of abuse of dominant position by undertakings and/or Port Authorities; participation in public tenders; acquisition of undertakings holding concessions of port terminals. 

    She is an expert of day-to-day legal assistance, judicial and extrajudicial protection of firm clients’ (e.g., terminal operators, logistics companies, shipping lines) interests. 

    Ekaterina has also developed a considerable expertise in EU sanctions.

    She has an excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written, and her native language is Russian.
