Luigi Orsi has many years of experience in criminal law, particularly in the area of white-collar crime. As a magistrate and over a period of more than thirty-five years, he has dealt with proceedings concerning corporate, bankruptcy, tax, financial, banking and public administration offences, as well as environmental and occupational safety offences.
With regard to these subjects: he has lectured at the Catholic, Bocconi and State Universities of Milan; he has edited contributions published in specialised journals or included in collective works; he has been invited on several occasions to hearings arranged by Parliamentary and Ministerial Commissions.
