Raffaele Giarda assists domestic and international clients in the technology, communications, and transportation sectors in matters relating to corporate and commercial law as well as on issues concerning foreign direct investments and regulatory aspects.
He advises in connection with mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, disposals of strategic assets, joint ventures and related shareholders’ agreements, particularly in the information technology sector and other regulated areas, as well as on networks and services, multimedia platforms and AI.
He lectures at some of the Italian leading universities and at the National School of Administration and sits on the Executive Committee of the International Institute of Communications, Italian Chapter.
Raffaele is the author of “I Diritti degli Utenti Finali” (End User Rights) in “Il Codice delle Comunicazioni Elettroniche” (The Electronic Communications Code), Giuffrè, 2004, and co-author of the chapter “The Italian market for electronic telecommunications” in Telecommunication Laws in Europe, Bloomsbury, 2013.
