    Cina, i brand di lusso in fila dagli strateghi della privacy


    Aziende e società di e-commerce, operare in Cina diventa più difficile e richiede investimenti in adeguamenti legislativi e in formazione del personale.

     

    La nuova normativa sulla privacy, appena varata da Pechino e che entrerà in vigore a novembre si presenta come una doppia sfida:"Le imprese dell'e-commerce e del retail dovranno adeguarsi a un nuovo contesto normativo molto sofisticato presidiato da 12 autorità amministrative, tra cui anche quella per il Cyberspazio», racconta Carlo Geremia, partner dello studio legale Nctm con sede a Shanghai, uno degli speaker del convegno organizzato dalla Camera di Commercio italiana in Cina proprio Shanghai:"New personal data regulation & business implication in the Prc".

     

    Spiega Geremia: «C'è una particolare esposizione al rischio per i brand del lusso, e in generale per tutti gli operatori sarà più difficile creare profili dei consumatori, se non impossibile».

     

    La necessità del consenso informato e la raccolta di informazioni strettamente necessarie restringono il campo di azione nelle strategie commerciali e e di marketing.

     

    Investimenti su adeguamento normativo e formazione del personale sono le due strade maestre da imboccare per restare competitivi. Le imprese italiane, e in generale le europee, sono in qualche modo avvantaggiate perché già operano nel contesto del Gdpr, standard di tutela della privacy simile a quello cinese.

     

    Ma resta il nodo del trasferimento di dati trasfrontalieri.
