    EU Compass e diritto del lavoro: quali novità dobbiamo aspettarci?

    Il 29 gennaio 2025, la Commissione Europea ha presentato ai principali organi dell'Unione "A Competitiveness Compass for the EU", una bussola strategica per orientare le politiche europee nei prossimi anni.

    La bussola evidenzia i punti di forza dell’Unione Europea: talenti, forza lavoro altamente qualificata, ampio bacino di capitali privati e altrettanto ampio mercato unico, un ambiente giuridico stabile e prevedibile, il rispetto dello stato di diritto e un'economia sociale di mercato unica.

    Tuttavia, riconosce anche le debolezze strutturali che limitano la produttività e rendono l'Europa vulnerabile di fronte alle sfide poste dalla concorrenza sleale e dalle distorsioni nella produzione globale.

    Come sottolineato nel Rapporto Draghi, se l’Europa accetta un declino economico gestito e graduale, si condanna a una "lenta agonia", a meno che non cerchi di invertire la tendenza. La bussola è una call for action.
