    EU – US Joint Statement: Implications on Tariffs Applied to European Products


    On 21 August 2025, the United States and the European Union issued a Joint Statement outlining a political agreement on “reciprocal, fair and balanced trade.” While non-binding, the statement introduces important changes to tariff structures and regulatory priorities – with direct impact on European exporters.
